Marysville is a city in Snohomish County, Washington, USA. The population was 25,315 at the 2000 census. Marysville is known as "The Strawberry City" due to the large number of strawberry farms that once surrounded the city in its earlier days. Over the past decade, and continuing today, large residential, commercial, and industrial growth has transformed this city. With a population of over 36,000 residents (2007 figures) and growing, Marysville ranks as the 25th largest city in the state, and third largest in the county.
In recent years, the city has attracted a steady stream of visitors who enjoy the Tulalip Casino and its various forms of entertainment.
Marysville also is within easy driving distance of coastal regions as well as the Cascade Mountain range.
