No. 7 in USA
Seaside named a top beach town for walking
The folks at Redfin have applied their "walkability" 1scale to beaches and come up with one Northwest beach town that scores in the Top 10 beach towns for walking in the entire country.

According to Redfin, "these pedestrian-friendly destinations are all walking distance to the beach and have plenty of activities to enjoy in town." It basically means you don't have to walk far to find great restaurants, live music and other city and social activities.

Seaside, Oregon, came in at Number 7 in the USA, according to Redfin. It's the smallest town on their entire list -- just 6,400 people -- but made the list because it's easy to get around this laid-back beach town. It also noted that Seaside hosts two big sporting events each yer, the world's largest amateur beach volleyball tournament and the longest and largest relay race in teh world, the Hood to Coast Relay.

Seaside is known for an excellent assortment of beach accommodations in addition to great views and that special Oregon Coast vibe.
