Spokane brings back the good old daysOutdoor movies on the big screen -- no it's not 1959, it's July 2015 and Spokane's Riverfront Park has found just the solution to bring families together on warm summer nights.
It's actually the third season that Pemco Insurance has sponsored these movies on Wednesday nights. They've been running all summer but there are still three movies slated for July.
The Riverfront Park events also include trivia, entertainment, vendors and food at each event. Movies are shown on a 40-foot inflatable movie screen at Riverfront Park's Lilac Bowl.
It's recommended that guests bring blankets or lawn chairs and you should also dress warmly. It's just $5 per person for everything, and under 5 is free. The doors open at 7 and the movies start at dusk.
July movies include Back to the Future on July 1, 10 Things I Hate About You on July 8 and The Princess Bride on July 15. For more information go to www.outdoormoviesatriverfront.com.
