Hidden but not forgotten in the small rural community of Waterville, Washington stands the beautifully restored Waterville Historic Hotel. High on the Big Bend Plateau the traveler is surrounded by wheat fields, sagebrush, mountains and coulees. The Waterville Hotel received the Washington State Office of Archaeology and Historic Preservation Officers Award for Outstanding Achievement in 1999. The Town of Waterville, a sunny oasis in North Central Washington State, lies on US Highway 2 about half way between Everett (north of Seattle) and Spokane.
